ACRE
The Arc of PA’s Making Employment Work: ACRE Basic Certificate course teaches the fundamental values and skills needed to provide quality supported employment and community participation support services. This is an online course consisting of 3 days of Zoom classes, assignments and a self-guided online portion. Our ACRE training is recognized nationwide. It also fulfills PA’s provider certification requirements for supported employment and community participation support services.

Customized Employment
The Arc of PA’s Customized Employment certification course will train you in – Discovery and Customized Job Development. Those attending will learn the essential elements of creating unique jobs that are custom made to fit each job seeker’s interests, skills, and needs, meeting the needs of both the job seeker and the employer.

Intentional Teaching
Intentional Teaching is a one day course in which participants learn a set of data-driven strategies used to teach desired skills and can be adapted to individuals of all abilities and learning styles. Participants can earn a certificate of completion.This course is for educators, para-educators, job coaches, support staff, and parents.

E-Learning Modules
The Arc of PA offers a series of self-guided online classes for teachers, paraprofessionals, families and school staff. Course topics focus on promoting inclusion in the classroom and how to support students with disabilities. Certificates of completion and Act 48 credits available upon completion.
