The Arc of Pennsylvania’s Executive Director, Sherri Landis, has been appointed by Governor-Elect Josh Shapiro and Lieutenant Governor-Elect Austin Davis to its Health and Human Services Transition Advisory Committee, specifically in the area of Human Services. The incoming administration’s Advisory Committees are made up of policy and professional experts, community advocates, and business, industry, and labor leaders from across the Commonwealth.
By the appointment of Sherri Landis, our stakeholders can be assured that the needs and interests of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), their families, and caregivers will be visible and heard.
Sherri says, “I want to thank Governor-elect Shapiro and Lieutenant Governor-elect Davis for selected me to serve on the Transition Advisory Committee for Human Services. It is a privilege to represent The Arc of Pennsylvania, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and families. I look forward to working with the members on the committee to elevate the issues of the IDD disability community.”
